Rubystar CLVR RMN Agave 50% American Nubian
Sire: My-Enchanted-Acres SonsetRoman
Dam: Clover (NOA grade Nubian)
Because clearly I don't have enough genetic projects already, I am starting an American line of Nubians! The dam had an insanely high rear udder, and due to her structure, I could tell someone in her genetic background had done some serious breeding in the near past. I talked my friend (her owner) into letting me breed the doe to a registered buck to bring the rear udder trait back into the registered population. Agave has excellent depth of barrel and spring of rib, and shows a lot of sharpness throughout. Her escutcheon and rear leg set promise to hold an impressive udder (which was what I was after). She needs improvements in substance of bone, depth in the chest and shoulder assembly in the area of the elbows (which might be corrected by a deeper chest). I look forward to finding and using sires with strong rear udder genetics behind them to further this bloodline.
