DD: Bluecollar Treasure
This is a very dairy, fine boned and deep bodied doe. Her udder is shapely, fairly well attached, and has an incredible medial suspensory ligament. Her rear udder is one of the best I've seen in the breed, although it finally did stretch in her third lactation. Her teats are smaller than I prefer, but soft-skinned and easy to milk. I'd like to see more strength in her rear legs and stronger rear attachments, but otherwise she's a beautiful doe. She does tend to be somewhat highstrung, which seems to be unusual in the Guernsey breed. I've only gotten two kids from her with that disposition, the others are total sweethearts.
She also has the ability to milk through the winter. I routinely milk her through to 2-3 months before kidding again. Her 2010 lactation had a Bfat low of 4.4% and a high of 7.8%.
Her 2010 DHIR record: 1-11 277 1650 5.3% 86 3.6% 58
