This doe was my very first Nubian. I was offered a very generous trade by a local breeder for me to upgrade from a grade Boer cross to a purebred Nubian doeling. I saw this blond beauty, and as I had been admiring the Guernsey goats, I decided this one would do just fine as not only a registered Nubian for a 4-H project, but also a substitute Guernsey. She was a shy, stubborn little doe who taught my mom and I a lot about dairy goats. Turns out she had some of the best of the older NW lines, had a beautiful udder and she was oh so hard to dry off. She can be found behind any of my Kalakala descendants.
